Conclusion of an agreement for execution of a project for public sector

A consortium comprising SMT Software S.A. and the Institute of Cultivation, Fertilization and Soil Science – National Research Institute was commissioned to execute a project for the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute. The project will be conducted in the “GIS” technology.

Scheduled for execution within the scope of cooperation with the Institute of Cultivation, Fertilization and Soil Science – National Research Institute, the project concerns the “Methodical elaboration of soil science issues that result from the planned Directive of European Parliament and Council of the European Union that sets the scope of soil protection and changes Directive 2004/35/WE (COM (2006) 232, final version) with creation of IT tools used for soil threat analysis”. SMT Software will be responsible for the development of IT tools based on the “GIS” technology. 

The project is due to be completed no later than 31.08.2012.
