SMT Software develops a debt collection system for an Ukrainian bank

On 19th July, SMT Software concluded an agreement with IndexBank in Kiev for the development of a debt collection system.

The Madeline system was implemented in IndexBank in 2008 and in 2009 SMT Software introduced it in Meridian Bank in Serbia. Both banks are currently members of the Crédit Agricole Group. IndexBank has approximately 3300 employees and provides bank services to 370 thousand private clients and 25 thousand business clients. The implemented Madeline application is a central debt management system for the debt collection Call Center, dedicated to the financial institutions. It supports coordination of regional debt collectors as well as administration and legal service of the debt collection department.

Yesterday the Board at SMT Software concluded the agreement with IndexBank for further development of the Madeline system. The development includes integration with the new IndexBank’s transaction system, improvement of the call center performance with the automatic debtor telephone number dialing option, new analytical report sets, a complete data exchange service in cooperation with external debt collection agencies, migration of the latest system version to the new ORACLE base, and downloading the client payment data on-line.
