The main functions of the SATIS system are:

• driver management - running of the database consisting of drivers data and their qualifications and licences, information on expiry date of their qualifications and licences, about the necessity to perform new checkups, monitoring of working time of drivers, checking if they obey legal requirements concerning daily and weekly breaks and listing of active drivers,
• vehicle management - running the register of vehicles, semitrailers and semitrailer sets, reminding about service, necessity to change the tyres and support for registering and settlement of insurance damages,
• planning - dispatcher tool that allows to assign the drivers and vehicles to carry out specific tasks. The system recommends the best hours of departure and arrivals on the basis of available data and maps,reminds users about crucial restrictions and checks the availability of vehicles and drivers.,
• control - collection of data about finished jobs and current reports submitted to dispatcher on events which can hinder or disturb execution of the plan (failures, delays, thefts).
• fleet monitoring in real time with the use of inscribed GPS devices installed in vehicles.
