Excellent first-quarter 2010 results of SMT Software S.A.

Shortly after its stock market debut, SMT Software finished first the quarter of 2010 with a nett income amounting to PLN 2,822,744.26. In comparison with the respective quarter of 2009, it is an increase by over a million.
After its debut on April 21st 2010, SMT Software takes its first steps as a shares issuer and a public company, paying special attention to the transparency of its actions and its financial results in order to fulfill the requirements of the stock market.
In the first quarter 2010 the company noticed distinctive signs of economy revival that directly influenced market demand for IT services. It appears that many companies have unlocked their budgets for IT solutions and SMT Software customers can now afford to make a major investment in their inner infrastructure. The beginning of this year was very busy for SMT Software, as the company has gathered plenty of orders for the first quarter which allowed for very good results at the end of March.

For example the result for the last quarter of the previous year was higher than that of the first three quarters combined.”
