SMT Software obtains 2% of the shares of an LiveCLIQ, American startup

SMT Software, who purchased shares of Traffic Info in the previous week, opened this week by concluding an agreement with the American company LiveCLIQ. The agreement concerns obtainment of 2% of LiveCLIQ shares by SMT Software.

SMT Software S.A. after having its debut on NewConnect last month, announced that it plans to develop it’s mobile solutions department more intensively.
Consequently, the Board of SMT Software S.A. on May 10th 2010 signed a letter of intent with LiveCLIQ Inc. based in San Francisco. According to this document, SMT Software is due to receive 2% of LiveCLIQ’s shares. It also regulates the terms of further cooperation between both companies. SMT Software has been providing many services for LiveCLIQ since July 2008.

We have been watching the development of this company with great interest. – said Sebastian Łękawa, President of the Management Board at SMT Software S.A. – This agreement guarantees that SMT will be receiving a constant stream of new orders. We will also take part in LiveCLIQ projects based on the latest mobile technologies.”
LiveCLIQ offers hosted services to media properties, consumer brands and mobile carriers. LiveCLIQ.net user media site enables people to record video or stream live from their mobile to the web.
As a part of the cooperation with LiveCLIQ, SMT Software specialists are responsible for preparing a project and implementation of a platform for streaming and publishing video files. Clips from mobile phones will be streamed to the www.livecliq.net site, where they can be browsed and rated by other users. Furthermore, the LiveCLIQ platform can be used for streaming mobile television.
The system has been adjusted in order to be able to operate on most mobile platforms available on the market – Symbian, Windows Mobile, Google Android and iPhone. Main receipients of LiveCLIQ platform are mobile carriers and media companies.
Mobile applications produced by SMT Software developers allow their users to support and control their workers in the field. They can also serve as a convenient tool for learning, entertainment, data acquisition, market research and many other purposes.
